Lovers of Apala music have continued to express shock over the sudden passage of Akeem Ayinla, the eldest son of the late Apala music maestro, Alhaji Ayinla Omowura.
The Apala music exponent died early Monday in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, and was buried in the evening according to Muslim rites.
According to a family source, Akeem Omowura, who was in his 60s, died after complaining of severe headache.
Omo Egunmagaji as fondly called by Apala music fans, was well respected in Abeokuta township as some of his father’s fans still patronised him.
