Top five finish remains MFM’s target, says Ayeyemi

James Ayeyemi is optimistic that MFM FC can end the NPFL season as one of the best five teams.

The Olukoya Boys are 10th in the NPFL table, six points adrift of the top five and Ayeyemi insists the squad are fully focused on each encounter.

“Yes,  a top five finish is still the target and I know that we’ve got the quality to make it happen.  We rarely blow our trumpet but instead do the talking on the pitch. The league still has a couple of matches to go and those that make good use of the points available to them will smile,” Ayeyemi told  Goal.

“We are focused on each game with a strong intent to secure points as they come. Ten points difference is quite huge but if you consider that we still have 12 matches to go,  that’s 33 points for those who are truly ready to drop the sweat and work even harder then you’ll agree with me that MFM FC will finish in the top five, ” he said.
