Sultry Nollywood thespian, Omoni Oboli, has finally revealed the name of her new movie.
The new project titled ‘Okafor’s Law’ is coming after her block buster movie ‘Wives On Strike’ which, according to reports, was a sold-out all through its cinema running.
The new movie is starring some of the finest Nollywood names such as Richard Mofe Damijo, Lala Akinloju, Toyin Aimakhu, Betty Irabor, Halima Abubakar, Funke Bucknor and Blossom Chukwu, among others.
According to information gathered, the new work is being filmed with the Red Dragon and Angenieux Anamorphic lenses. The producer is said to be the first to use Anamorphic lenses in Nigeria.
The actress, despite being a mother, wife and career lady, has so far managed to keep her home front and emerged winner with her movies.
Oboli won the award for Best Actress – Narrative Feature at the Los Angeles Movie Awards, and the award for Best Actress at the Harlem International Film Festival. And she was nominated for the Best Actress in a Leading Role award at the 2011 Africa Movie Academy Awards. In 2014, Omoni won Big Screen Actress of the Year award, at the 2014 ELOY Awards, for her movie Being Mrs Elliot, respectively.
