TVC E. Yesterday the Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw took to her Instagram page to call out the organizers of comedian Akpororo’s show,Akpororo Vs Akpororo for including her name as the host of the event scheduled to hold on the 8th of July, 2016.
The Star actress, who is known to take no nonsense, shared a disclaimer issued by her management clearly stating that she was never approached by the organizers of the show, neither did she give them permission to use her name or image on their publicity materials.
Kate also made it clear that even though she may be a friendly person, she refuses to be taken for granted. “There is a thing called RESPECT in this industry. The sooner people recognize this, the better it will be for all.
Do not take my smile and simplicity for stupidity! ” she wrote.
She then gave the organizers 48hrs to remove her name and image from all publicity associated with the event.

It is nothing new for organizers of shows to use images of celebrities for publicity and more often than not, they tend to get away with it. Now, Kate Henshaw has shown that not only is this act not cool, also there could be consequences for such actions.
