Acting was originally not part of my plans – Linda Ejiofor

Nollywood actress Linda Ejiofor, also known as Bimpe in the popular TV series, “Tinsel,” has stated that acting was never on the cards for her but it was the handiwork of fate.

Ejiofor, who has featured in movies like Rita Dominic’s “The Meeting,” in an interview with The Nation, however said she loves acting.

“I love to act and I enjoy my job. It is a gift to be able to do something you love and are passionate about,” she said.

“Most people never get that chance. Even though I did not originally set out to be an actress, fate made it happen. I honestly cannot imagine leaving this for any other sort of career.”

The thespian also disclosed that although she is a full-time actress, she is still into modelling.

“I still work as model occasionally. I am however a fulltime actor and I have been one for years.

“I got cast as Bimpe in 2008 and I have been working professionally as an actor since then,” she said.
