TVC E. The All Progressives Congress in Kaduna State has revealed that it will take proper measures to sanction unfaithful members that seek the downfall of the party in the state.
In reference to the splinter group, APC-AKIDA, led by the senator representing Kaduna-Central senatorial district, Shehu Sani, and other prominent politicians in the state, the party warned unfaithful members to desist from anti-party activities or they will be forced to leave.
Publicity Secretary of the APC, Salisu Tanko-Wusono, issued the statement on Sunday June the 5th, and urged the public not to take members of the so-called APC-AKIDA seriously.
According to Tanko-Wusono, no one will be allowed to stop the party from deepening its roots and being strengthened to focus on the public good.
Tanko-Wusono said: “These people should not be taken seriously. The APC responded to them only so that the public could know that these are people who have been blinded by the delusion that the party must worship them.”
“They have isolated themselves and demonstrated the inability to be disciplined or to commit to wider interests beyond their ego. The APC and its leaders have every right to warn them to desist from immature politics. No one will be allowed to stop the APC from deepening its roots and being strengthened as a party of the people, disciplined and focused on the public good.”
