PMAN set to launch compulsory bar-coding of musical works

The Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria has announced plans to commence the compulsory bar-coding of all musical and film works of musicians in Nigeria.

PMAN president Pretty Okafor disclosed this at the National executive council meeting held on Monday in Lagos.

He says this would protect the works of the creator, investor and determine the contribution of the music industry into Nation’s economy.
