TVC E. Beautiful Yoruba actress, Iyabo Ojo, Omawunmi Dada, AY Comedian’s wife Mabel Makun and others rolled out with Little baby Daivyan Obiajunwa, Cancer survivor on the 27th of May 2016 to celebrate with him and to create the awareness of cancer in children.
TVC NEWS Correspondent Rita Aju was with the parents of baby Daivyan who explained that, the children cancer foundation was borne as a result of deep passion to bridge the gap between children living with cancer and the society, to also help create awareness that children cancer is real but early detection is key.

The little baby Daivyan who has been to India and back from treatment is that of a two year old boy presently surviving stage 4 kidney cancer and the parents ( Matilda and Austin Obiajunwa ) decided that there was a need to share their story to help others learn and understand that cancer is not a death sentence but when detected early and treatment followed up, the patient can survive.
As a result they embarked on sensitizing children and their parents through schools and churches and decided to organize an awareness march on children’s day involving over 500 children to speak up for children living with cancer about the need to show more love to them,the need to know the signs for early detection.
The event had in attendance,children from schools like University of Lagos women society, st Bernadette schools, Liham schools, joint heirs, heritage montessori house, FCE model college, pampers private school, university of Lagos staff school, kabma-f schools and many others.
The Ambassadors of the foundation came out to create awareness with thechildren,they are celebrity- Iyabo Ojo, Mabel Makun (wife of comedian Ay Makun) and Omowunmi Dada.
The host of the day was Seun Ajayi.
