TVC E. Khloe Kardashian, the popular T.V reality star has filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Lamar Odom for a second time.
She filed the legal documents on Thursday, Khloe filed for divorce once before in 2013, but was stalling signing the final termination papers when Odom very nearly died. Odom was found unconscious and in critical condition after a wildly debauched weekend at a legal Nevada brothel with cocaine and other drugs in his system. Halting the proceedings so she could take charge of taking care of him.
She cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for her petition seeking to formally end her marriage.
Reports state that the split is amicable. The two have no children together. With the divorce filing stating that the couple have a prenuptial agreement. No details were revealed, but Kardashian is seeking to end spousal support and divide property following the parameters of the prenup, according to reports.
Khloe, who had officially changed her name to Kardashian-Odom after her marriage, also requested in the divorce that Odom be dropped from her name.
According to California law, they have to wait six months before a judge can rule that the marriage is legally over.
