Ayo Makun, a popular Nigerian comedian and actor, has finally answered to the onslaught of criticism from musician Seun Kuti, the son of afrobeat legendFela Kuti.
Seun Kuti previously revealed that he criticized AY after the comedian’s house was destroyed because he described his daughter as a “dog” in one of his skits.
AY was also accused of being a wife-beater and having smelly mouth’ by the Grammy-nominated afrobeat performer.
Responding to Seun Kuti’s accusations, AY shared a video where he explained that the skit in question was his response to trending issues and it was about Nigerian Chef, Hilda Baci who trended for eating dogs with an influencer, Enioluwa.
AY also denied being a wife-beater, stating that he has never met Seun Kuti personally. He questioned if the singer had kissed him because he was accused to having mouth odor.
