Nigerians have been urged to adopt cycling as an alternate mode of transportation as the nation removes petroleum subsidies.
At the celebration of the 2023 World Bicycle Day in Ibadan, Mr. Joshua Adekanye, Oyo State Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), provided the advice on Saturday.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the United Nations (UN) designated June 3 of each year as World Bicycle Day in 2018.
It is a recognized international holiday due to the bicycle’s distinctiveness, durability, and adaptability. The bicycle has been around for more than 200 years
