Tears, tributes at Ekiti doctors’ burial

Three of the Ekiti State doctors who lost their lives on their way to the last NMA Conference in Sokoto have been buried in Ado Ekiti.

A commendation service was held earlier at the Ekiti State Secretariat of the NMA in the state capital in honour of the late doctors and their driver.

Preacher at the commendation service reiterated the vanity of life according to the Bible.

Several former colleagues of the deceased paid glowing tribute to the departed.

After the service, two of the doctors-Olajide Olayiwola and Ogunseye Ola were buried at the premises of the state Secretariat of the NMA in Ado Ekiti after due consultation with their families.

The General Surgeon among the deceased-Tunde Aladesanmi was buried at his residence also in the state capital.

The remains of the remaining three doctors and their driver have been taken to their home towns for burial.
