International pop star Justin Bieber has arrived in Mumbai to perform at the Sangeet ceremony for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s upcoming wedding.
Reports indicate that Bieber will earn ₹83 crore or $10 million for his performance. This marks his second performance in India, following his controversial 2017 concert, where critics targeted him for lip-syncing.
Upon arriving at the Mumbai airport, Bieber quickly entered a waiting car without waving to the paparazzi. He plans to perform his hit songs like “Baby,” “Peaches,” “Sorry,” and “Despacito” at the Sangeet ceremony, scheduled at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai on July 5.
Moreover, other international artists such as Adele, Drake, and Lana Del Rey may also perform at the Ambani-Merchant wedding festivities. This high-profile event celebrates the union of Anant Ambani, the youngest son of India’s richest person Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of businessman Viren Merchant.
Furthermore, the Ambani-Merchant wedding celebrations follow meticulous planning and adhere to traditional Hindu Vedic customs. The main ceremonies will commence on July 12 with the Shubh Vivah (wedding function), followed by Shubh Aashirwad on July 13, and conclude with the Mangal Utsav (wedding reception) on July 14.
