Ferrer elucidated that Alcaraz, Nadal, Davidovich Fokina, and Carreno-Busta are slated for singles matches, while Alcaraz and Nadal will unite for doubles. Granollers will collaborate with another player, the identity of whom is yet to be disclosed. Expressing optimism, Ferrer envisions multiple medals, highlighting the potential of the Nadal-Alcaraz partnership.
However, Paula Badosa will be absent from the women’s draw, opting out of the Olympic Games due to the absence of WTA ranking points. Consequently, Spain will be represented by Sara Sorribes and Cristina Bucsa in the women’s event in Paris.
