Drake Raps on Metro Boomin’s ‘BBL Drizzy’ Beat in New Sexyy Red Track

Drake has unexpectedly rapped over Metro Boomin‘s “BBL Drizzy” beat in his new collaboration with Sexyy Red. The St. Louis rapper dropped her album In Sexyy We Trust on Friday (May 24) with little notice, featuring a track called “U My Everything” that includes a verse from Drake.

Metro Boomin’s Mocking Beat

While Tay Keith produced the song, part of Drake’s verse features him rapping over Metro Boomin’s beat, which was initially created to mock him. In the track, Drake raps, “Why you love me? Still a mystery/ Me and the surgeon got history/ I changed a lot of girls’ lives for real/ They need a new body, they hittin’ me,” before transitioning to the “BBL Drizzy” instrumental.

He continues with, “BBL Drizzy, they want a new body, they ask me for it/ The last one, Jung, he did it for free ’cause I sent over so many past ones for him.” This marks Drake’s second collaboration with Sexyy Red, following “Rich Baby Daddy” from his For All the Dogs album, which also featured SZA.

The Origin of ‘BBL Drizzy’

Metro Boomin released the “BBL Drizzy” beat on SoundCloud earlier in May as part of their ongoing feud, further fueling rumors that Drake had a Brazilian butt lift. Metro Boomin even launched a contest inviting fans to freestyle over the instrumental, offering a free beat to the winner and later adding a $10,000 cash prize.

Rick Ross’s Role in the Feud

The term “BBL Drizzy” was first coined by Rick Ross, who mocked Drake on social media, suggesting the Toronto rapper had plastic surgery. Ross wrote on Instagram, “The bridge of your nose somehow got smaller BBL Drizzy @champagnepapi,” alongside side-by-side photos of Drake.

Drake’s Response

Drake has not directly addressed these BBL rumors but responded to Metro and Ross in his diss tracks “Push Ups” and “Family Matters.” On the former, he calls out Metro, saying, “Metro, shut your ho ass up and make some drums, n-gga,” responding to the shots aimed at him in Metro’s We Don’t Trust You album with Future.

In “Family Matters,” Drake fires back at Rick Ross’s “Champagne Moments” diss, rapping, “What the fuck I heard Rick drop, nigga? Talkin’ somethin’ ’bout a nose job, n-gga/ Ozempic got a side effect of jealousy and doctor never told y’all n-ggas.”
