Snoop Dogg Announces Return of Death Row Artist Danny Boy

Snoop Dogg, as the owner of Death Row Records, has welcomed back a former artist to the label, marking a significant move for the legendary rapper. He announced on Instagram that Danny Boy has rejoined Death Row, posting a video of the veteran R&B singer working in the studio.

Artists like DJ Quik, DJ Premier, Omarion, Faith Evans, and Anthony Hamilton expressed their excitement in the comments. Danny Boy also shared his enthusiasm for his reunion with Snoop Dogg and Death Row on his Instagram, revealing that new music is in progress.

Danny Boy is known for his contributions to 2Pac’s albums All Eyez on Me and The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory, featuring on tracks like “I Ain’t Mad at Cha” and “Heaven Ain’t Hard 2 Find.” He was originally signed by Suge Knight to a five-year contract when he was just 16.

Snoop Dogg had previously extended an invitation to Danny Boy last year after seeing a video of him singing. He welcomed him back with the caption, “Your seat on Death Row awaits you @dannyboysteward.”

In addition to Danny Boy’s return, another Death Row act, Tha Dogg Pound, is also set to release their new album We All We Got through the Snoop-owned label this summer.
