According to Koffi, ‘This album is a reprise from an old highlife song done by the great Victor Olaiya, I am bringing in some freshness into it while using the song to paint a perfect picture of the hardship and tough times people are facing right now across the nation. Ijinle is a thorough expression of my ability to deliver melodious songs in my native Yoruba language with a modern twinge and powerful lyrics’.

Koffi’s last album, ‘Metamorpho’, has songs like ‘Jabele‘, ‘Pen Ati Paper‘, and ‘Jam 4 Me‘ among others.
