However, music from other Universal artists remains unavailable.
Reports suggest that Swift’s unique ownership of her music copyrights, established in a 2018 agreement with Universal, may have facilitated her music’s return to TikTok. Some speculate that Swift could have struck a separate deal with the platform.

Meanwhile, Universal Music expressed concerns about TikTok’s compensation for artists, especially regarding AI-generated songs resembling original tracks, which can gain viral popularity.
Swift’s announcement of “The Tortured Poets Department” occurred during her acceptance of her 13th Grammy award earlier this year. The album, set for release on April 19th, marks her 11th studio album.
