This decision comes amidst a recent trend where streamers project their gaming sessions onto close-up shots of intimate body parts, like butt and breasts, using green screens. Twitch aims to curb this trend, officially prohibiting “content that focuses on clothed intimate body parts” starting March 29.

The trend allegedly began when controversial streamer Morgpie projected her Fortnite gameplay onto a closeup of her behind. Other streamers followed suit, overlaying their games on both real and fictional body parts, like anime thighs or animated breasts.
However, Twitch’s policy extends beyond clothed body parts, prohibiting any depiction of nudity, whether real or fictional. Previously, Twitch relaxed its rules for sexual content, leading to Morgpie’s topless gaming session and subsequent policy revisions to prevent users from simulating nudity in their streams.
