Federal Authorities Search Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Properties in Sex Trafficking Probe

Federal Homeland Security Investigations agents, alongside other law enforcement, searched two properties owned by music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs in Los Angeles and Miami as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation led by federal authorities in New York, according to two law enforcement officials speaking to The Associated Press.

The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, were not authorized to publicly disclose the specifics of the probe, leaving it unclear if Combs himself is the primary target.

Homeland Security Investigations confirmed their execution of law enforcement actions in the ongoing investigation, with support from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and local law enforcement partners. Representatives for the U.S. attorney’s office in Manhattan declined to comment, and attempts to reach Combs’ legal team and other representatives were unsuccessful.

Law enforcement cordoned off Combs’ Los Angeles property in the affluent Holmby Hills neighborhood near Beverly Hills, with agents seen gathered in the backyard in helicopter footage from KABC-TV.

The searches coincide with sexual assault lawsuits filed against Combs, including allegations from a music producer in February accusing him of coercing him to solicit prostitutes and engage in sexual activity, which Combs’ attorney Shawn Holley has denied.

Additionally, Combs’ former partner, R&B singer Cassie, sued him in November alleging years of sexual abuse, including rape, which was settled shortly after being filed. Another accuser claimed Combs raped her when she was 17.

Combs has denied all allegations, stating in a December statement, “I did not do any of the awful things being alleged.”

Attorney Douglas Wigdor, representing Cassie and another woman who sued Combs, expressed hopes that the search marks the beginning of holding Combs accountable for his alleged misconduct. The searches raise questions about potential connections to the lawsuits against Combs, but no definitive links have been established thus far.
