2face and Now Muzik part ways after two decades of collaboration

 

Following a fruitful 20-year partnership, Now Muzik and Nigerian Afrobeat icon 2face Idibia have decided to go their separate ways.

2face, who has been managed by Efe Omorogbe’s Now Muzik since 2004, has officially ended his long-standing professional relationship with Omorogbe.

The announcement was made via Now Muzik’s social media channels. The management company, headed by Omorogbe, has been representing 2Baba since 2004, and the decision to dissolve their management agreement was mutually agreed upon.

In a statement shared on social media, Now Muzik CEO Efe Omorogbe expressed gratitude towards 2Baba for the trust and friendship, acknowledging the success they’ve achieved together. He praised 2Baba as one of Nigeria’s greatest musicians and expressed pride in their collaborative efforts over the past two decades. Omorogbe also conveyed his team’s commitment to continue supporting 2Baba’s journey from the sidelines.

In response, 2Baba expressed appreciation for Now Muzik and its team, acknowledging their significant role in his career success. He emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving his goals and expressed gratitude for the support he has received throughout his career, particularly from Now Muzik.

While their professional partnership may have come to an end, both parties expressed gratitude for the memories created and the achievements attained during their time together.
