Mourinho Turns Down Al-Shabab Offer.

Jose Mourinho has declined an offer from Al-Shabab, a team in the Saudi Pro League, following his recent dismissal from Roma. Despite advanced talks between Al-Shabab and Mourinho regarding a potential move to Saudi Arabia, reports suggest that Mourinho is currently waiting for a more compelling opportunity and has chosen not to join the club at this time.

In an October interview, the 60-year-old Portuguese manager expressed his willingness to work in Saudi Arabia, stating, “I will go to Saudi Arabia in some free time, but I am convinced that I will work there.” He highlighted the positive changes in the Saudi football scene, with players like Cristiano Ronaldo contributing to its development.

While Mourinho was spotted in Barcelona over the weekend, the purpose of his visit remains undisclosed. There are expectations that he will return to Serie A and assume the role of Napoli manager, possibly replacing Walter Mazzarri. Mourinho is anticipated to meet with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis later this week. However, if Napoli secures a victory in the Supercoppa Italiana final against Inter on Monday, it is likely that Mazzarri will continue as the manager for the remainder of the season.
