Renowned actor Jamie Foxx is currently embroiled in allegations of sexual assault, as reported by TMZ on November 22. The accusations stem from an incident in August 2015 at Catch NYC & Roof.
According to a lawsuit, the unnamed plaintiff was dining at the New York City restaurant when she noticed Foxx nearby. Around 1 a.m., her friend reportedly asked Foxx for a photo, to which he allegedly responded with flattering comments. Subsequently, Foxx is accused of taking the woman to another area of the rooftop and sexually assaulting her, including inappropriate touching of her breasts and genitals. The plaintiff claims that the assault ceased when her friend intervened.
The legal document states that the woman had to undergo medical treatment for her injuries and suffered emotional distress as a result of the alleged incident.
Jamie Foxx addressed concerns about his well-being in a detailed social media post in July. While he expressed gratitude for the support he received, he also acknowledged going through a challenging experience and emphasized his desire for the public to see him in positive and uplifting situations.
