Blueface Sentenced to Probation After Strip Club Shooting

Rapper Blueface has been handed a serious probation sentence for his involvement in a shooting at a Las Vegas strip club in 2022, which left a man injured. The controversial artist appeared before the court on October 2nd to face charges related to the incident. The victim, Kentabius Traylor, testified that Blueface opened fire on him after he made a comment about the rapper’s car.

Clark County District Court Judge Kathleen E. Delaney sentenced Blueface to 24 to 60 months of probation, a suspended sentence that won’t involve actual prison time. As part of his probation terms, Blueface is prohibited from possessing alcohol, drugs, or weapons, including firearms. He is also restricted from entering the Strip and Downtown corridors of Las Vegas, except for work-related purposes. Any violation of these terms would result in serving the remaining time in prison.

Blueface pleaded guilty to one felony count of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and one misdemeanor battery charge. Attempted murder charges, which were initially considered, were dismissed as part of the probation agreement.

This case, which culminated in a guilty plea, stemmed from a dispute triggered by a joke. Legal documents reveal that Blueface was at the Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club in Las Vegas in October 2022 when the victim made a jest about the rapper conversing with “some females in a cheap vehicle.” The situation escalated when members of Blueface’s entourage allegedly assaulted the man. As the victim attempted to leave in his truck, Blueface allegedly fired shots at the vehicle as it fled the scene.

This guilty plea marks the end of a contentious case, initially triggered by a seemingly innocuous remark, that has had significant repercussions for all parties involved.
