The Headies Award celebrates African artists who have kept the vibes and culture in the music industry
This announcement was made yesterday on their official website as it showcases a line of sensational and luminaries Afrobeatstars.
Earlier this year, the Headies released the award nominees for all category which has sparked several reactions on social media and also the winners from each category is highly anticipated by fans and lovers of Afrobeats music.
2023 Headies Award
The 2023Headies Award edition features Seyi vibes for the first time as a nominee for the next rated award category alongside other hit makers; Young John, Asake, and Victony.
The ultimate prize for this category, an automobile, is highly praised, just as it was for the 15th Headies Next Rated Award winner, Daniel Benson, better known as Buju, who received a 2022 Bentley Bentayga last year.
Also, this year’s edition recognizes Rema, Burna Boy, and Asake as the most nominated act.
The lineup of performances for the award ceremony includeAfrobeats superstars Wande Coal and KCee, Ayra Starr, Johnny Drille, Rema, SeyiVibez, Multi-Headies Winner Fireboy, Asake, Oxlade, Next Rated nominees Victony and Spyro, hip-hop artist Blaqbonez.
