House of Representatives ad hoc committee investigating controversial crude oil swap contracts of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation says its report would not spare persons or firms with cases to answer.
TVC News gathered that the ad hoc committee, chaired by a Kwara State lawmaker, Zakari Mohammed, had completed its hearing into the deals, and would release a report before the end of June.
It was also gathered that though the committee summoned Alison-Madueke and a former Managing Director of Pipelines Product Marketing Company, Haruna Momoh, in connection with the investigation, they did not appear at the hearing.
The controversial crude swap deals ran from 2010 to 2014, during which the NNPC exchanged parts of its daily 445,000 barrels of crude for refined petroleum products.
