South African rapper Kiernan Forbes popularly known as AKA was shot dead alongside his best friend and former manager, Tebello Tibiz in a restaurant in Durban, South Africa on Friday, February 10.
AKA and his friends had traveled to Johannesburg for his birthday party which was scheduled to hold at Yugo Nightclub.
Two hours before he was killed, AKA visited Wish Restaurant on Florida road with some friends and his bodyguard.
His location was posted on his Instagram page and a few hours later he stepped outside the restaurant with his best friend, Tibiz where they were both killed.
According to eyewitnesses, AKA was standing outside Wish restaurant with his best friend Tibiz and others when gunmen in two cars opened fire killing both men and leaving one of his bodyguards injured.
His family has released a statement confirming his devastating demise.
