Television Continental (TVC) reporter, Oluwatoyin Aboh, has emerged winner in the 2016 ‘Nordica Fertility Center’s Broadcast Media Awards.
According to Nordica Fertility Center, the award is aimed at appreciating and celebrating health reporters who have performed excellently in health reproductive reporting in Print, Digital and Broadcast media.
The award, which is the first of its kind in Nigeria was presented to Aboh at a special event tagged ‘Yello Endo” on Saturday, April 9th, 2016 at the Banquet Hall, The Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos in recognition of Health Talk, her well-researched program on TVC News and her story on male fertility which dwelled on major causes, challenges and possible solutions to infertility in men.
Speaking after receiving the award, an ecstatic Aboh said that, “ I appreciate Nordica for this award. I see it as a well -deserved one and I am dedicating it to the entire crew of ‘Health Talk’ on TVC News. I am also appealing to all the stakeholders in the Health sector to do more than they are doing, because a healthy nation is a wealthy one.’’
Nordica Fertility Center is a Norwegian group, rendering healthcare services in infertility treatment, egg, embryo and sperm donation.
