SAD STORY! Crowd Slay Transport Boss In Oyo For Killing Teenager

A transport boss in the Ibarapa Central Local Government Area of Oyo State, Jamiu Sego, has been reportedly killed by an angry mob in the Igboora area of the state.

The youths, during the mob action on Saturday, were said to have also set Sego’s corpse ablaze. It was allegedly said that the victim was a member of the Park Management system in the state.

According to reports, Sego was attempting to collect money from motorcyclists in the area when an argument ensued between him and a motorcyclist that got heated up.

During the process of his usual duty of collecting money from motorcyclists, this time in an aggressive way, it got out of hand and ended up leading to a violent argument which led to the death of a boy and two others injured.

Sego the Transport Boss reportedly pulled a gun during the fight and threatened to shoot the rider if he continued to fail to pay him his full amount.

The innocent Oyo boy who was standing around the market was struck by the stray bullet that they (the motorcyclist and sego) dragged after failing to resolve the conflict.

Sago’s death triggered the community and caused them to raise their anger towards him which led to them chasing and beating him mercilessly, killing and setting him ablaze.

Park Management System (PMS), however, debunked the reports that claimed Sego Jamiu was one of their members.

They said in clear terms that the deceased Sego Jamiu was never a member of the PMS and neither did he head any position of the PMS while alive. This was said by the spokesperson for the PMS in the State, Emiola Jelili.
