The Lagos State Government has stated that efforts to save a woman who allegedly jumped from the Third Mainland Bridge into the lagoon on Thursday were futile.Â
The lady, in her mid-30s, was said to have gotten out of a taxi after a heated argument with her fiancé, ran to the bridge railing, and scaled it into the lagoon.
