A human rights lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, has berated the action of the security agents particularly the operatives of Department of State Services (DSS) over the extortion of money from passengers coming into the country at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos State.
He described the action of the officers as ridiculous and embarrassing to the entire country.
Olajengbesi, an Abuja-based lawyer, disclosed this in a post on his Facebook page on Tuesday following an encounter at the arrival wing of the airport where some DSS operatives allegedly begged for money from those arriving in the country.
Olajengbesi described the trend as shocking just as he called on the Director-General of the service to live up to the expectations and act swiftly in redeeming the image of the agency.
