And it keeps getting better and better for Nigerian music, as Marvel Studios has unveiled the full track list for the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, and it features some of your favourites.
The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – Music from and Inspired by soundtrack features over forty international artists, some of which include our very own Burna Boy, Fireboy, Tems, Rema, and CKay.
Nigerian producers also worked on some tracks on the project including P.Priime who worked on three tracks.
Other acts featured on this project include Rihanna whose lead single. ‘Lift Me Up’ (co-written by Tems), was released last week, breaking her six-year music hiatus.
Tobe Nwigwe, Busiswa, Stormzy, Future, and E-40, amongst many others are also featured on this nineteen-track project.
The soundtrack was executive produced by Ludwig Göransson, who previously scored Black Panther and co-wrote and -produced the soundtrack song “Opps.”
In addition to putting the lineup together, Göransson researched traditional Mayan and Nigerian music, including Indigenous instruments and recorded it in five countries, including Nigeria and Mexico.
The album arrived on November 4, ahead of Wakanda Forever, which comes to theatres on November 11. Listen to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever — Music From and Inspired By, below.
