Sharing with the ladies what made her stop wearing panties Nkechi said,

“I stop wearing panties when I was 18 because each time I wear panties while I was growing up, I will end up taking them out and throwing them anywhere.

My mum had warned me several times but I don’t listen so one day, she took one of my dirty panties and hunged it in front of her beer parlour at Obulegba.

Every customer that walked into her shop that day, she told them that was my pant. That was the most embarrassing moment of my life and there and then I swore that I was never going to wear pants again.

That was why when I saw what my ex said, I cried all through that day and I was like, God, but you know the agreement we both had when I was 18.

I was really hurt by that statement because I was like, how I wish it was true but I cried because he knew within himself that I don’t even wear panties so why would he now use that to shame me?

The bad thing is that, since then, a lot of people when they want to insult me will be like, go and wash your dirty panties.

I was literally crying and I called my elder sister and I told her that, how I wish our mum was alive she would have sat down and told them what she did to me when I was 18.

Why did you decide to go that far with your ex and even had a fake marriage with him?

First, there was never a marriage whatsoever. I was never married but you know what dating a  Yoruba man in a Yoruba society is like, a lot of people thought I was Yoruba because I do Yoruba films so I was constantly referred to as ‘Okormi’ meaning our wife.

So everybody thought I was married and of course, I also said in one of my interviews that I was married. My apologies. To everyone watching, I was never married.

I used to say that, my first marriage will be my one and only marriage and if I were to be married to him, I would have done everything to make it work. Our breakup happened even before it came on social media and I begged him.

When we started our relationship, him being someone that was going g into politics, he said we should sign a no disclosure form.

I wish I did because from my side, I won’t come out and say a word about someone I have once shown to the world. I have had relationships that did not make it to social media, we broke up and everybody went their separate ways in peace, nobody heard a thing.

So I don’t know why Nigerians are making it an issue as if he was the fifth person, no, this is the only time I am ever having relationship problems on Instagram whereby my ex comes out to say stuff about me. I warned him and I begged him.

While we were in the relationship, a blogger wrote about us and we had issues for three weeks, we didn’t talk, then, when he came back I was like, let’s continue but we won’t put it out there because he had a wife before and me posting his pictures all the time, just didn’t seat right to me.

I have a conscience, I would not want another woman seeing me and be like, oh she’s the one with my husband now but he was always saying that he does not care, but I care, I am a woman too. Forget that we have broken up if I see him with another woman tomorrow, I might not really care but I am going to still be like, hmmm I was the one with him before so I was putting myself in her shoes.

When everything blew out of proportion, I was like let’s go our separate ways, I am not going to come out to say a word but I hope you don’t come out to say a word as well because I am going to finish you.

The thing is, in the heat of the first time we started dating, a lot of people told him things about me, but I also heard things about him.

Pepople tell him Nkechi is this, Nkechi is that and anytime we have an issue he will be insulting me based on what he heard and I keep telling him, I have heard stuff about you as well but it will be bad for me to hurt you with those words because I didn’t believe them even though some, I had my fact but the day I am going to insult you with the any of the things I know about you, you’re going to hang yourself and he will apologise”. she added
