Ruby Gyang explains transition to Afropop

Soul Singer Ruby Gyang is known for her alternative sound so it was a surprise when the singer released “Shakara,” a deviation from the sound many of her fans are used to.

At an event in Lagos, she told TVC News that soul music allows her express herself in different forms.

She said that the goal is to reach a different audience not familiar with soul music.
