The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria AGN, Emeka Rollas has confirmed that Nollywood actors, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel, a.k.a Agbogidi have been kidnapped.
This was announced in a statement where he stated that the abductors have contacted their families and they are demanding the sum of one hundred thousand dollars.
Emeka Rollas further stated that the guild is working with the security agents while still hoping for God’s intervention to rescue the actors unhurt.
He also disclosed that the kidnappers have cleared out the account of actress Cynthia Okereke after the abduction.
All of this is coming after the AGN issued a statement earlier informing the public about the disappearance of Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel.
According to the statement signed by Actress and Director of Communications, Monalisa Chinda, the two actors were reported missing after their family members confirmed they didn’t come back from a film location at Ozalla Town, Enugu state.
In view of this sad development, the National President of the Guild has instructed all Actors to avoid going to the outskirts of cities to film except full security cover is provided to ensure their safety.
