Omah Lay, the guy that first hit the airwaves during the lockdown, has finally come of age.
The youngster has over the past two years delivered consistently, releasing two EP’s in 2020 and several hit singles last year.
Omah Lay is already a big star and he has made some of the biggest songs out of Nigeria ever. Yet the kid has so much promise and he still has the potential to be so much more.
That’s why his debut album, “Boy Alone” is a much-anticipated project and one of the most awaited this year. No doubt, Omah Lay has come through again because what I’m hearing is a banger.
The album already has over 50 million streams on AudioMack and is already at #2 on Apple Music. It’s only a matter of time.
“Boy Alone,” which is a direct follow-up to 2020’s “What Have We Done” has fourteen songs and features Justin Bieber and Tay Iwar. It would appear Omah Lay tried as much as possible to do his thing solo.
