Just when we were thinking that K-Pop will be the next big thing in music, the front-liners of that music genre BTS have announced that they are going on a temporary hiatus.

The popular Korean boy band made this emotional revelation known during their annual FESTA dinner as they celebrated their ninth anniversary.

According to them, they are temporarily going their separate ways to pursue their solo careers, but they also promised to return someday.

 

Due to that emotional hiatus announcement by BTS, it was later revealed that their shares plunged thirty-four percent, wiping one point seven billion dollars off its market value.

They had to state that their announcement got lost in translation, emphasizing that while bandmates will be pursing solo projects, they will remain an active group for the foreseeable future.

This is however not the first time they will be making this move, in December 2021, they said they needed some down time to recharge, they also took a mini-break in 2019.

Just so you know BTS also known as the Bangtan Boys is a South Korean boy band which consists of seven members namely, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.

The group which was formed in 2010 and debuted in 2013 are popular for songs such as Dynamite, Savage Love, Life Goes On, Butter, Permission to Dance, and others.
