Omah Lay‘s musical team has refuted claims of a feud between the singer and Burna Boy, which resulted in Burna Boy being removed from his debut album.
Omah Lay was rumored to be considering dropping Burna Boy from his forthcoming album, according to online reports.
According to sources, Burna Boy’s departure was prompted by the uproar that surrounded him following his police escorts’ alleged shooting of revelers at a Lagos bar.
The allegations also cited a deleted Instastory chit-chat between Omah Lay and his fans, in which the singer stated that his collaborative tune with Burna Boy would be removed from the album, which is set to be released on June 24.
Omah Lay’s joke quickly sparked intense debate on social media, with music aficionados and supporters of the individual performers voicing their opinions.
When contacted, a source in Omah Lay’s team stated that there was no such feud between the singers.
“There was never a misunderstanding between the both of them. Omah’s post on his stories was just for laughs.” A source reportedly told TheCable Lifestyle.
