Nollywood Actors Called Out For Not Supporting Leo Mezie Before His Demise

Leonard Chimezie Onyemachi, better known as Leo Mezie in Nollywood, passed away at the age of 46 after suffering from kidney disease.

 

According to reports, the actor, who had a kidney transplant over four years ago, received another last week but developed difficulties and passed on Saturday, May 14th.

Reacting to this, the lady identified as Eteyi_Deboroah said celebrities are crying more than the bereaved now. Meanwhile, Leo Mezie had been soliciting funds but no one came to his aid.

She wrote,

Watch the yeyebrities begin to cry more than the bereaved now meanwhile, he had been soliciting for funds to no avail”.

Responding to her, Kanayo O. Kanayo described her as an idiot to talk down on celebrities and asked her if she is on the Actor’s Union.

He wrote:

“Eteyi, you are an idiot to talk down on celebrities. Are you one? Are you of the Actor’s Union? Did anyone call for your assistance by any means? It’s only in Nigeria that nitwits like you talk about celebrities not doing anything or enough for a societal cause or one another. Looking at your page, you have no followership, therefore, it’s safe to conclude you are looking for evidence”.
