Nollywood actor Yemi Blaq Nollywood has bagged an ambassadorial appointment of Nigerian Carnival.
The heavy looking actor named as the cultural ambassador of the Nigeria carnival holding in the city of Maryland in US is very happy with the development. The Maryland Nigeria carnival comes up on Sunday July 24, 2016 and it is to showcase the diversity and richness of the Nigeria culture, language and lifestyle.
This will be the first time the carnival will be holding for the first time in Maryland and it will have symposium, interactive workshop, seminars and street carnival from different states of Nigeria.
Yemi Blaq who is from Ondo State said: “The carnival seeks to project the Nigerian culture. The event will showcase the real culture of Nigeria. Imagine us using calabash to drink our palm wine and taking pepper soup and other traditional dishes.
All that including a street carnival will be showcased. We will interface with African American community in Maryland. We are partnering with the state government culture and tourism boards”.
