Hon. Yakubu Barde, a member of the house of representatives, has asked the federal government to allow Nigerians “have guns like phones”.
Hon. Yakubu Umar Barde made this statement reacting to the attack and incessant kidnapping in Kajuru local government of Kaduna State.
During an interview with the ladies of Your View, the lawmaker stated that his outburst was out of frustration and due to the demands of Nigerians in his constituency after being faced with consistent attacks by bandits.
He added that vigilantes in his constituency stated that if they were armed enough, some of the attacks by bandits would have been repelled. WATCH!
