How Brave Victor Olayiwola Sacrificed His Legs While Trying To Save His Mother

In Nigeria, several children have contributed to the development of the country. But most times, the deeds of these children are often overlooked by the public. 12 years ago, Dufil Prima Foods, makers of Indomie, noticed this gap and introduced the Indomie Independent Day Award (IIDA) solely for children. In preparation for this year’s award coming up on October 12, we had the Group Public Relations/Event Manager, Mr. Tope Ashiwaju and last year’s winner, Victor Olayiwola, who shared the story of how his leg had to be amputated after brave act to save his mum from getting killed by an oncoming vehicle.
