Veteran Anchor Expresses Displeasure On Live TV as Correspondent Calls Him by Name

Mixed reactions have trailed the video of Nigerian journalist, Reuben Abati, who expressed displeasure as a correspondent called him by first name repeatedly on a live broadcast video.

Reuben Abati was captured during an on-air news report chiding a Tv correspondent, Mary Chinda for calling by him by his name.

The Correspondent who according to reports was at the airport to give an update on the Nigerian evacuees returning from Ukraine, called him by his first name, Reuben, the veteran Journalist was not pleased with the way she addressed him.

He couldn’t hide his displeasure at the young reporter’s manner of address went ahead to ask if she was at his naming ceremony.

He then went ahead  and offered to give Mary a lecture about his long-standing career as a journalist.
