TVC E – The popular Nelo Place, Ikeja was filled to capacity, penultimate week, as students, parents and staff of Westerfield College Lagos were treated to a praise and worship concert.
The visioner of the concert, Michael Dosunmu, who is also the Managing Director of the school, while speaking during the event, disclosed that he started the concert two years later after he started the school five years ago.
According to him, he saw a combination of young people raising their hands praising and worshiping God in a dream.
“I saw a combination of young people with myself praising and worshiping God,” he said.
Pastor Gbemisola Taiwo of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Greater Harvest Parish while ministering at the concert, stressed the need to always praise God, quoting Psalm 150:6.
She said “God is not looking for “professional praisers”. People who read, cite, and sing prayers and songs that have already been written. What God is looking for are men and women that have been transformed from the inside out, and who really want to praise Him for revealing himself to him.’’
