Winfrey Dania Okolo is the 5th of 5 children from a family that hails from Estako Central Local Government Area of Edo state, Nigeria.
Growing up as the last kid of a military family was no fun and games, especially considering that she was born and breed a deeper lifer; this made going for what she wanted always challenging, but backing down was never an option.
Winfrey studied law at the University of Benin and attended law school in Yenogoa, Bayelsa State after which she got called to the Nigerian bar in 2015. After school, she took her Miss University Nigeria title which she won in 2012 representing UNIBEN to another level emerging Too 5 at Miss Nigeria in 2016 and then MBGN Tourism in 2017.
Soon after she commence her pet project which was geared towards bringing the world to Nigeria and taking Nigeria to the world through the use of media. Stemming from that she began a career in media as broadcast journalist, content creator and TV Producer and has worked severally in that regard.
Though, not actively competing in pageants anymore, Winfrey’s love for pageants and genuine interest in the female gender and her struggles gave birth to The Pageant Academy, a platform specially designed to groom pageant aspirants, models and every lady with a desire to take up space in her field.
Expressing her interest in the preservation and advancement of African tourism, Winfrey serves as Brand Ambassador, La Campagne Tropicana and Face of Continental Building Initiative. She is a lifestyle enthusiast who in her spare time loves to travel, cook, create, learn new things and think fashion!
