FG reiterates commitment to boost local production

TVC E, BUSINESS – The Federal Government has expressed its commitment to encourage local production of goods and development of technological skills which can assist the country in job and wealth creations.

The Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu stated this during his visit to the technological incubation centre, Onijaganjagan, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The minister who expressed satisfaction on the quality of products he met at the centre assured the entrepreneurs that the government will continue to support innovative ideas, noting that with quality technological development, poverty will be reduced in the country.

Also, the Director General of the National Board for Technology Incubation, Muhammed Jibrin said the current fall of Naira against dollar can be addressed if Nigerians patronise and encourage made in Nigeria products.
