X-raying the life of late minister, James Ocholi

TVC E, NEWS – James Ocholi was born on November the 26th, 1960 in Idah, present day Kogi state, in the then Northern region of Nigeria, West Africa.

He was the second child and first boy in a family of four females and two male children.

Young Ocholi was brought up under strict morals and ethical behaviour.

James-Ocholi-TVCE2After losing his mother, James Ocholi became the breadwinner of the family, at a young age.

Through hard work in his studies, James was able to secure a scholarship from the then Benue state Government, which enabled him to graduate as a lawyer from the University of Jos in 1985.

He finished from the Nigerian Law School the following year and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1986.

His marriage to Blessing Fatima Ocholi was blessed with five children.

On December the 12th, 2007, he earned the title of Senior Advocate of Nigeria. He was also a Notary Public of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Pro-chancellor and chairman of Council of the Salem University in Lokoja, Kogi state and chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Nigeria Bar Association.

Until his unfortunate accident along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway, he lived with his Family in Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital City.
