TVC E, MOVIES – The first edition of the Beeta Playwright Competition was a success and TVC’s Olayiwola Awakan emerged as part of the 9 finalists in the competition; taking home the 2nd Runner Up Prize for his work “Echoes of the Drum”
Orok Nikkita emerged as the first runner up for her work “Affiong” and Paul Ugbede emerged as the winner for his work “One Son the Minister.”
The Beeta Playwright Competition is a platform aimed at promoting Nigerian theatre while telling authentic African stories.
