Afrobeats icon Davido has officially confirmed a major international collaboration with American R&B superstar Chris Brown. In a recent appearance on The Ebro Show, Davido revealed that he and Chris Brown are planning a joint tour and will release a collaborative EP in 2026.
“We can put out two albums right now,” Davido said during the interview, confirming that the two artists already have more than twenty recorded songs together. The Nigerian superstar explained that the delay in releasing the project was intentional, as 2025 marks a huge year for Chris Brown, and he wanted the Grammy-winning singer to enjoy the spotlight fully.
Davido also shared exciting details about the upcoming tour. He announced that he would join Chris Brown on the Breezy Bowl tour, with plans for a double continent tour that will span Africa and Europe, coinciding with the joint EP launch.
In addition to the collaboration, Davido is gearing up for his own solo tour following the release of his new album. Titled the ‘5 Alive’ tour, the global trek will hit thirteen cities and includes a historic performance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the UK. The stadium concert will feature star-studded acts like 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige, making it one of Davido’s most significant live performances to date.
Fans around the world are buzzing about this major partnership between two global music powerhouses. The Davido-Chris Brown collaboration promises to bring a fusion of Afrobeats and R&B to audiences on a massive scale.
