One of Nigeria’s medal hopes, Blessing Oborududu, will face Canada’s Linda Morais in the 68kg quarter-final.
In the men’s 400 meters, Ezekiel Nathaniel will compete in the heats, while Chidi Okezie will participate in the repechage. For the women’s 400 meters, Ella Onojuvwevwo and Esther Elo Joseph will race in the heats. Additionally, Udodi Chudi Onwuzurike will compete in the men’s 200 meters heat.
